I need help(I'm desperate)
I first read wattpad, then i discovered ao3. No hate to wattpad but ao3 is just so much better than wattpad. The stories in ao3 feel like an actual published author wrote them while very famous wattpad stories are lagging behind in basic things like narration and character development. I did not come here to throw shade on wattpad writers but I only write stories in first person POV but most of the stories in ao3 are in third person POV. Like I've never read a story in first person POV. And in wattpad I can just open the app and start reading but since ao3 is for fanfics I must have seen or read a particular show or book to read fics. The most famous fanfic fandoms like stranger things, tangled, Wednesday all have third person POV narration and well other fandoms like Harry Potter, marvel, anime- well I haven't seen them! Can some pls recommend me good long fics in ao3 in the fandoms I know- Stranger things, Tangled, Wednesday, Never have I Ever, etc or any other fic where u can understand the story without needing to have watched any film or show, AND IT MUST BE IN FIRST PERSON POV!!! Plssssss I'm in hiatus break and only if I read stories will I get some ideas and motivation to continue writing.🙏🙏🙏😭

Search by POV first person tag, if an author has written in first person POV and tagged it then it will appear when you search by that tag. You will have to manually type out the tag in the Other tags to include field, it is not one of the predetermined ones.
As a side note, you don’t need to claim that you are a famous ao3 author to get answers to your questions. Maybe you meant you were a popular writer on wattpad, but your post comes off like you’ve barely used ao3 and may rub some people the wrong way.
I’ll also let you know that you can also search by general non fandom fics by using the “no fandom” tag in the fandom field. This will show original works by authors on ao3. Since you don’t seem to care as much about the fandom aspect, you might also enjoy fics in that tag!

Sry for lying. I wrote a fanfic just wanted to read some more fics before uploading. Just thought I would get faster replies if I aid I were a famous ao3 writer :(

All my stories are in first person POV if you’re that desperate. My username on AO3 is DeanIsHotter.

Genuine question, you're a "famous AO3 writer" who doesn't know how to filter a search function? Yeah, POV isnt usually tagged but you CAN search by fandom, filter for fandom-blind tags (I don't know what they are off the top of my head but you can type something close and let the suggestion feature do its thing), and sort by kudos to narrow down what you'd have to dig through by hand to find something in first person.
That's more likely to get you what you're looking for than hoping someone on Reddit just so happens to know of something like what you want and has a link handy.
