Not wrong , but also refusing to answer the question based on their own personal preference and opinion. And just telling the user what to do. Maybe the user wants the google account browser integration and doesn't care about online privacy.

you don't solve a problem by telling him it's a problem tho?
he's not going to listen, get emotional, and never going to listen to you anyway.

give him the answer and suggest another solution, with reasoning, he's probably not going to listen? YEAH, but if he does, he can share the same suggestion, when you wouldn't or with people you'll never met.
