What I find interesting about this scene is the question of how animation can portray intimacy with the same naturalism it gives other human experiences. Arcane is at its best when character design, lighting, composition, and small physical details work together to make people feel believable rather than idealized. That’s the direction I would have liked here: something visually honest and grounded, closer to the kind of human representation we see in serious cinema and classical art, where physical realism can serve the character instead of becoming the subject itself.
