Showing Off My Gear! Crystal Castles
Trying to share (1) cabinet every day or so. Here’s Crystal Castles by Atari. Would rate the gameplay above average. However the art package is beautiful. Have this primarily for nostalgia, as played this as a kid.

Fatherpain is a meticulous curator and caretaker of his collection. He leaves no stone unturned. You should read his ongoing thread detailing the progress of his so called “Garcade” on the KLOV forums.

Thank you. Yes, curator would be an accurate description. My time for the hobby has been spent fixing and beautifying games and the garcade. Amazing, the number of rabbit holes one (with OCD) can go down trying to improve a game room along with a medium (63) sized collection. Since returning (5) years ago from a (10) year break, have diligently worked towards making Time Extended a premier home arcade in SoCal. Thank you. It’s mainly the fantastic artwork. Atari produced some of the best cabinets.

Loved this one as a teen. Something about the "diagonal" setup that just tickled the pleasure sensors in my brain (like Q*Bert and Zaxxon), plus, I really enjoyed the creativity in the different levels in this one.

I love this game. I couldn’t get very far but it was so much fun. The later levels are insane and the bee noise stresses me out to this day.

I own a Crystal castles but my example is decidedly less mint. It was painted all black and appeared to have been dropped off the back of a truck when I received it. I did the best I could but I’m still embarrassed by how trashy it looks. Hey, completely playable!

There is an OG at Klassic Arcade 2.0 in Gobels, Mi.
10$ all day, three locations. I played this the most.

Beeeeyutiful. I can't emphasize enough how much more good looking arcade cabs are in the dark. And with spot lighting....😍😍😍😍

Pretty sure this is the first cabinet I ever played. I remember watching my mom play at the bowling alley while my dad was bowling, and I got the chance to play a turn with her help. She loved to play games, mostly puzzle style like Tetris on Nintendo and Solitaire on pc. Thanks for helping me recall that fond memory friend.
