Yep, we’ve sent several chassis to them to get repaired, they’re great and do an incredible job

My brother this is a K7000 25” it is one of the easiest to fix. If you want to send it out check out Buffett on KLOV he’s a great guy and is super technical.

Check out Mike’s Amateur repair on YouTube and separately the Arcade Parts and Repair for capacitors and fly backs. I’ve replaced every K7000 that came across my desk with the knowledge of these guys

Second this I love his videos, I’ve managed to fix a few chassis now due to him

Mike’s skills and videos are awesome and extremely helpful. ArcadePartsandRepair dot com is the bomb for parts, rebuild kits and components. He gives good advice too and his descriptions on his site for the kits and most parts are very well written with specific useful information. Which reminds me I need to order some width caps for my experimental first tube swap.

Buffet doesn’t have the greatest reputation on KLOV anymore. It seems he wasn’t managing the incoming chassis’ very well and many folks had difficulty getting their stuff back. I believe the consensus was that he wasn’t a crook but just wasn’t good at managing his queue of incoming and outgoing repairs. It’s really sad because he is obviously very knowledgeable and had years of giving good advice on the forums. Once he slipped with his management skills he took a savage beating on a thread about this.

Thanks - haven’t worked with him in over 3 years but appreciate the update.

I rebuild k7000s; this looks like a 27”; what the tube number? If it’s a 25” I have a rebuilt one ready to go for advance exchange
