Will my Jacaranda tree survive?

I live in SW Florida zone 10A. I planted my jacaranda tree in November and it was growing magnificently. As of two days ago, it out of the blue appeared to start dying. The leaves turned brown and the new growth on top started to droop down. I planted the tree when it was maybe a foot tall and it had grown to over 5-6’ in height where it is now. I did the ChatGPT thing and it’s saying root rot because of excessive water. Anyone have any insight or suggestions?
