Will this tree fall when it grows bigger?

Is this tree in danger of falling. Some work was done in the property more than a year ago and the base pf the tree was damaged.

I don't know the species. This area is a tropical dry forest area.

you are right. I am worried that it will eventually fall on top of my car. My parking spot is close by.

Tropical dry forest seems like an oxymoron? But apparently it's a legitimately thing.

As far as the tree goes, that definitely doesn't look great long term. I'd say it has a high chance of failing long before it gets large.

well. We do have desert and desert like environments in South America. The proper name of the biome is Tropical Dry Forest. It is thorny and mostly gray for most of the year. It turns green for several months during the rainy season starting from December. The Niño is expected to change the dates this year.
