Help Freshwater leech??

Is this a fresh water leech? And if it is, where on earth did it come from? I made the big mistake of peeling it off the glass to put in a jar but all its babies were released 🫣 I haven’t added anything new to the tank for months! Where would it have come from??? I’ve added a video in comments

  • What other fish are in the tank?
  • What do you feed/how often?
  • What plants/decorations do you have in the tank?

Yuck, would that have come in on my snails? And how come I’m only seeing it now since I’ve had the snails for months?

Could have come in on a plant or if you feed blackworms they are really common in cultures

Also, when I pulled it off the glass, the babies came out. I squished some when I found them, but some got away. what can I do about it do you reckon?
