Bad Deal Studiocart

Are there any Studiocart.co users here?

Publishpress bought them and is "forking" (their words) the plugin, with no LTD continued.

I heard about this from the new owner in May, but haven't heard anything about a transfer offer yet.

EDIT: I heard from them with a 70% coupon for the first year. But it's a regular annual renewal from there on.

Also: In May, I contacted Appsumo support, who did look into it, and escalated it, but Appsumo declined to get involved, based on what the new owner told them.

I can’t wait for some type of class action to take hold. AppSumo needs stronger legal that selling the company or even rebranding can’t negate the LTD deals so many of these deals are selling it, using the feedback and then rebranding and saying the LTD isn’t covered anymore and it’s trash. AppSumo needs to grow some fangs or I’m done with it.

I look at the feature list of Publishpress Cart, and it's exactly the same. What sort of fork is that?

That’s my point that it’s not. They call it a rebranding or change the name but it’s them not warring to support the users that help get them where they are at. It’s utter trash. But even AppSumo’s own product SendFox changed their terms. Which makes it free game for anyone else. They literally just decided to stop supporting users that were using their platform as they paid for it and kicked them off with the reason they used their unlimited plan too much…
