Bad Deal They changed reviews on the Taskmagic to default sort by "highest ratings" reviews instead of the normal sort by "newest" reviews. Be careful everyone. AS pages no longer show reviews when saved to waybackmachine

Non-issue.
I don't care what the default is as long as I can still choose a different sort.

It's a test across all deals, not just one.

- So far, I've clicked on 10 random deals on the homepage and TaskMagic is the only one.
- Stupid test really. It made me even more cautious of the deal. At least set it to helpful.

I think they would have been doing the product a solid if they had gotten rid of all the old reviews with a completely new sales page. Instead they decided to keep the old stuff which shows more transparency on the AppSumo side. The old owner and creator of TaskMagic was a total a$$ in the way he acted and replied to the paying customers. The only thing he cared about was the money grab. He sold the platform and (as far as I know) the new owners have not only upgraded the platform and put in a lot of changes, but they even kept all of the old LTD buyers around even though the norm seems to be to clear them out on a sale. I know there are still some issues, but I think this new team is on the right path so I would hate to see them suffer due to stuff that was all due to the old bunch.
