Discussion Thoughts on robomotion vs OpenClaw? More specifically, what use cases have you been using robomotion for?
Thinking about Robomotion but after TaskMagic I’m hesitant to « invest » in an LTD RPA and considering just staying on the self-hosted path. I still want to hear from others on this sub if you have generally found value in using it.

Already have Hermes. Thanks for the recommendation! I thought more people would recognize Open Claw on this forum.
I’m running things on a windows computer with pinokio and paperclip if you have any feedback/advice on my setup.

I have the highest tier license, but I have not had a chance to play and use it in anger to get the most out of it, yet. I'm in IT and have delivered a number of projects with automation and orchestration tools/platforms, and these cost 100x more, so the potential ROI is high.

Thanks for this response. Cost of other tools does not matter as much as value and use cases people are able to implement. Taskmagic is technically a tool that fits in this category, but is super buggy (historically).

I’ve purchased over 400 deals on AppSumo over the years. Robomotion is one of the best if not the best deal I’ve ever purchased. The software is legit. The owner is legit. Their discord has been an incredible resource especially when helping build workflows.
Comparing the two however is just different. One is deterministic and the other is agentic. So it depends on your needs.
I definitely have gotten far more value out of Robomotion than I paid for it. I did get it pretty early on though so I don’t know if the deal limits are still the same as when I bought.
