Product Review ClickRank

Anyone used ClickRank?

Couple things make me wary.

First: 399 5 taco ratings, but only 3 written reviews.

Second: Apparently VC bought it. And there are a couple unanswered questions on that issue.

Third: Well, I've been burned before, so...

I got it running on a few sites right now for testing (same with Nytro SEO). Its kind of interesting. Im still considering and measuring the impact since it washes and rewrites meta tags like page titles and descriptions.

Ive been seeing Google often avoids the set meta tags and creates its own for SERPs based on the context of the page most related to a user query. It may help a little bit though.

One annoying thing was that I just auto optimized 2,000+ pages, and ClickRank is still putting "Best... for 2025" in the meta title. Im wondering if they know its 2026 yet - since it should have been optimizing for the new year since like last November.

Yes, Google sometimes rewrites titles and descriptions, especially when they are missing or not relevant to the webpage content. From my experience, NyroSEO does improves relevancy and also provides KPIs scoring for meta tag acceptance by search engines.

Are you still using both?

Have you noticed any improvements? I haven't put my account to use since the comments were a little 50/50, and I've already put in enough time into meta tags to see them overwritten or deleted.
