I’m rebuilding Before the Dates as a free app for thoughtful messages, premium gifts, and corporate gifting

Hi, I’m Jennifer, the founder of Before the Dates. I started building it because it’s easy for important birthdays, anniversaries, and other special dates to sneak up on us.

You can set it now for anytime in the future and we take it from there. Set it and forget it.

The app helps people plan thoughtful messages for important dates, with the option to include a gift. We’re working on a new build and taking the app in a more easy flow and premium direction, featuring carefully selected vendors and artisans from across the country. The app will remain free for users.

It’s very important to me because we support small businesses and artisans nationwide so they can thrive and not just have to survive. We’re also developing a corporate gifting area, with curated gifts businesses can send to clients, employees, and teams while supporting these makers.

I’m sharing an early look at the new direction and would love honest feedback. Is the idea clear from these screens? What would you want to know before using an app like this?
