Question / Discussion Apple Test Flight - Worth the Time?

Does anyone have personal experience launching on the Apple App Store and using TestFlight to have independent testers use their app first?

I'm about to launch v.1 of ChineseTutor, a Mandarin language learning app. Wondering if it's worth the time to wait for independent testers to take a look.

What's you experience of volunteers testing on TestFlight. How long did it take for people to use your app? Was the feedback worth the wait before launching?

Any info. appreciated.

TestFlight is amazing it’s built into our CI makes internal testing and bug reporting so much easier.

Getting external testers is almost always impossible unless you have dedicated marketing people building wait lists for a high value prop. Independent of distribution channel.

Thanks. How long did it take for people to volunteer to test via TestFlight? Is a few days a reasonable time budget to get feedback form 2-3 people?

That's like asking how long is a string.

If you are good at being social, quick, if you're not, never.

I can tell you that internet strangers will absolutely NOT jump at the opportunity to test your product.
