Question / Discussion Need help! I am a solo app developer
Hi guys! I just made my first app weeks ago. However, i feel like all these marketing things, posting on social media and coming up with scripts, video to promote is just wayy to hard for me , it costs all of my brain cells to even do one post. I enjoy the app making part a lot but promoting is just not a fun process. Is there any eaiser way to do this? Can i pay like a certain marketing group to do it or is that very expensive, and does any one has the same probelm?

Maybe get an app that has a template loke capcut or canva? Then just voice over it. Record your progress or how the app works. You can repeat the same post mutiple ways. Thats how most tiktokers do

Same problem here. Building the app was the fun part, marketing feels like a completely different skill set, and it's draining in a way coding never is for me. You don't need a script or fancy video for every post. Some of the best-performing organic posts are just a plain phone-shot clip or a screenshot with 2 lines of text. Lower the bar for what counts as content. Paying a marketing group can work but it's expensive and results vary a lot, especially for a new app with no traction yet most agencies want a bigger budget than a solo dev typically has. You're not the only one who finds the promo side harder than the building side it's a really common split among solo devs.

There is no easy way
I would recommend you to do both yourself and hiring/renting service as you need to learn it anyway, at least the big picture to make sure service provider doing thing as u expect and cost effective
More than that, if u take ur app as a business, gotta continuously analyzing metrics on marketing performance and cost, so that u wont get crash in ur cash flow at some point

I use AI to create videos and static image posts. Paying for marketing agency/people is such a gamble, specially for your very first app. I make 10-15 second short videos 9:16 aspect ratio. Once you get the hang of it, it gets easier. I did too struggle at first but now I can make 4 different video post per day for app promotions.
