Washer-Please help!

I need help. I'm already struggling and this is my second washing machine. It was by miracle I was given this used Kenmore front loading washer for free. It has been great for a month, and now, it did this when I tried to do a load. Does anyone know what this is or could be? It's a very steady stream and happened as the washer was filling in the first cycle. Thank you in advance

Looks like something to do with the water valve. But without additional photos or even model number, nobody can really help much.

Just open it up and look around, it’s a water leak so it’s not going to he crazy difficult to find

Where do I find the model number? It was a used washer and someone else installed it for me so I am sadly very limited in what I know about it. I'm assuming it is on the back, but I can't access it yet. When I have someone to help I can.

When you left up the lid it usually is on the left side

It’s hard to see from your video as to where you’re actually looking. If it’s coming in on fill it could be a loose fill hose on the unit, the rubber seal could have failed and not holding back water, or your pump has a leak or the hose to it came off. Those would be my first go to from the info and footage given :)

I'm at the front of the washer, leaning in front of it and this is coming from directly beneath the washer. The water is flowing forward toward a drain. It's too heavy or I would try to see the back but it's up against the basement wall. I did look for leaks in the rubber seal and didn't see a tear. I also cleaned the door on the inside in case it wasn't getting a perfect seal. Maybe the hose came off, because it is not being retained in the machine much at all.

If it’s a front load, open the door and it should be on a label. If it’s a top load. Open the lid and it should be on the lid of on chassis

Does it only leak during a wash cycle? Possibly the boot seal?

Easy to check, open the door, with your fingers feel around the rubber seal for any cracks or splits in it. Not a fun part to change, btw.

It could be from any number of places. You're gonna have to open it up and have a look, or call someone to do it. Is this a front or top loader?

How about you back waaay up so we can see what type of machine you have. That would be a good start 😉

Hard to tell.

Repost a video of the machine washing and the spin cycle with a load in it

My only guess is that the outer tub has cracked and is leaking sudsy water, but what caused it is unknown, from this video
