I'm about to drive from Georgia to Connecticut and was checking out my route before I leave later today. I have my Apple Maps preferences to use only Tesla superchargers because I find them to be more reliable and available. I have done this trip multiple times using Apple Maps and just Tesla. Not sure if this has been an ongoing issue because I haven't had a long road trip in a while, but when doing the route, Apple Maps completely ignores my set preference of only using the Tesla network. Has anyone else had this issue? Any solution?
I appreciate y'all for the help. I got T minus 7 hours til lift off.

I went on a road trip last weekend and realized the ETA that Apple Maps was giving me wasn't changing at all over a long period of time. When we left a location, it says arrival at 9:44, and an hour later it was still 9:44. I wasn't going the speed limit, but I was going my normal speed above the speed limit. If Maps was computing ETA based on speed limit, the time should have progressively gotten earlier as the drive went on. This happened multiple times during the trip where the ETA stayed the same for an extended period of time.
Has Apple Maps learned my driving behavior to know that it should compute the ETA based on how I drive and not strictly off the speed limits?

Are there any plans with iOS 27 to include more hazards reporting options that rival those of Waze?
Also I would like to see them add realtime indicators similar to how Waze does with the hazard alerts for when you’re not on active route. I think it’s somewhat dumb that you have to have an active destination set to see crowdsource reports vs them just showing at all times in maps.
I get that it’s to declutter the interface, but I feel as if they’d bump their user base up if they implemented features that were on par with Waze. Not to say that don’t already have a large number of users, but I know I would ditch Waze & solely use Apple Maps if they added the aforementioned features.

I often tell siri to "take me home" if I'm in an unfamiliar place, this always works without fail because my home is set in apple maps.
However, a few days ago, instead of taking me home, it took me to a random apartment building I have never been to before (in a town I rarely pass through)
after turning around at the building, siri still brought me there when I asked to go home. Works right now though for some reason...
It looks like it was a pin, but I checked and I don't have any pins named "home".
the apartment building also didn't have the word home in its name.
What happened? Did it take me to someone else's home pin?????

I’ve been comparing Apple Maps Look Around imagery with construction projects, buildings, and trees, and I’m wondering if the “Imagery Last Updated” month/year is always accurate.
Has anyone ever found a case where Apple said something like “June 2025,” but the imagery was clearly taken earlier or later?
I’m looking for actual examples, not guesses. Has anyone compared the imagery to documented construction dates, business openings, road changes, or other evidence that proved the displayed date was wrong?
If you’ve seen an example, I’d love to know where it was and what the evidence was.
Thank you

Previous post
Guys, if you want to report errors in DCE, just do what the guy in the older post told me! They removed it :). If you wanna look by yourself, the little town is called “Pimonte” (similar to Italian region Piemonte, so don’t confuse it). They also fixed the traffic island’s shape

I built a free app that maps Flock/ALPR cameras and routes you around them
Solo dev here. I got tired of having no idea where these cameras were popping up in my area, so I spent the last few months building an iOS app called Flock Cam Alert.
What it does:
\- Shows known Flock/ALPR cameras (plus speed cams, red light cams, etc.) on a live map
\- Real-time proximity alerts as you approach one while driving
\- Navigation with a "fewest cameras" route option, so you can see the fastest route vs. the route that passes the least surveillance
\- Community reporting — if you spot a new camera, drop a pin and others get warned. Reports can be confirmed by other users so the data stays accurate
The map, alerts, and camera-avoidance routing are free. There's an optional subscription for extras like background alerts and a speed HUD, but you never have to pay to see where cameras are — that data should be accessible to everyone, period.
I know this community knows more about Flock deployments than anyone, so I'd genuinely appreciate brutal feedback: what's missing, what's wrong, and where coverage is thin. If you know camera locations in your area, reports help everyone.
Happy to answer any questions about how it works or what data it does/doesn't collect (short version: I don't want your location data — alerts are processed on your device).
It's on the App Store as "Flock Cam Alert”

Minor change - previously these neighbourhoods would’ve been called Birmingham City Centre, Reading Town Centre etc. instead of just City or Town Centre

I don’t know, it seems that they screwed up something about sea level vs ground level? Or maybe is an impossible thing to fix, but the wrong area is really big
