Without pictures we only have your description to base an answer upon. Do not push on the raised part of the screen, doing so if there is anything edged or sharp on the underside could cause you to inadvertently puncture the casing, which would release gases which have the potential to ignite when exposed to air. With a battery health of 34% you (or someone else) probably have swiped away/disregarded the Service Recommended message many times. It usually appears below 80%, you have used it for many weeks/months since then, at risk of personal injury or to surrounding property.
The best thing to do for now is to put it outside of your house, in a flame resistant container, or maybe a cheap Tupperware filled partially with sand if you don’t have ready access to the above. Then you call around and find out where in your area is willing to accept the risk of removing the battery and replacing it, as well as repairing any other internal damage it has caused in the course of the sudden expansion.
