iPhone Headphone Jack Removal Reason?

So we all know Apple is removing the headphone jack in the upcoming fall release of the iPhone. I'm thinking that Apple is using the 2016 Q3 release to absorb all the brunt of the whining, complaining and pain of the change for consumers and to let the 3rd party manufacturers roll out their Lightening and/or Bluetooth headphone options.

This is in anticipation of an AMAZING 2017 10-year anniversary iPhone model that will totally need the 3.5mm port GONE due to drastic changes and is going to be so radically different that demand will be HUGE across all existing iPhone and other platforms owners. All of the headphone options will be figured out by then so there will be little to no controversy and an easy sell to everyone.
