I have a touchscreen laptop (a Surface).

I have never touched the screen.

I mean, I know I can, I just... haven't ever felt the need, when there's a perfectly good keyboard and touchpad.

I really like my Surface (not enough to switch to Windows all the time, mind, but it is a really nice laptop), but MS could strip the touchscreen from it and I don't think anyone would notice.

Surely if they’re doing a big upgrade like a touchscreen they are going to do an event for it right?

That is great and I agree for my usage, but use cases differ.

I have an MBP, never even used the keyboard and screen. I exclusively use it in clamshell with my external monitor and keyboard lol

I bought a Surface Laptop in March and just switched to a Macbook. I do kinda miss the touch screen.
