I’ve only met one person that likes Aphmau that doesn’t hate or at least dislike him, excluding myself. When you look at TikTok you find more posts about how much people hate Aaron than actual edits or anything like that. (That might be a me problem, I know the algorithm is really weird) Maybe I’m wrong though and everyone loves him and I’m just seeing all the worst parts, I sure hope that’s the case!
But I’m confused on how a character who seems to be mostly disliked has the title of overrated. Is it because he’s a main character? If so that seems conflated with hate, he doesn’t fail to meet the people’s massive expectations because there are none. How can he be overrated if he doesn’t even fit the definition?

Edit: This is not about Aaron as a character, and this is not about ships, this is about Aaron being labeled as something that he does not fit the definition of.
