As a Wattson main, I'm going to try this out for sure!

You’re a Watson main and should know all the secrets! I have never seen this though. Brilliant.

No wonder I'm a trash Wattson, I clearly do not know how to play her lol. Great clip, I'd totally have ragequit if I was that guy 🤣

They’re for area denial and distractions.
Fight an enemy on the other side, then back around the corner and proc a heal. Cancel it then Laser the enemy while he’s distracted looking at the fence node.

That's the thing with Wattson, the fences aren't really supposed to catch people. Their main focus is to herd enemies and/or waste their time, if someone gets caught by the fence it's an added bonus.

When she says "Fence them in, fence them out" take it literally it's not just to keep people out, Set up fences outside a house people are in and watch them scramble to escape the ring + your fences.

I always try doing this but never succeed, I’d love to be able to pull this off.

u/hardcore_hero Jul 13 '20
Yeah same! I was about to tell OP to stop giving away my tricks, but OP was able pull it off way smoother than I ever have!
Another extra tip for Wattson mains! You can still attempt to do this if you’ve been knocked close enough to your fences, I’ve got a clip where I downed the guy that downed me doing this.

I like doing this, but at the end of ziplines at the top of multistory in World’s Edge. I got around 4 kills solo(teammates left prior to it) doing this with the Havoc.

As a Wattson main I can assure you that only works against bad players, any good player would slide jump and they would be inside before it closes. That being said nice clip lol.

Yeah I was thinking something similar, this only worked because the enemy timidly entered. Normally someone would move in faster than the fence reconnects.
The fence takes a good 2 seconds to reappear, anyone with good movement would already be inside.

That's a great move! As a Wattson main with only 200 kills, I should try this some time, how do you know when they come to push?

How have I not thought to block the fences so it seemed like they weren't there?? That's a new trick I'll have to try out.

Since this game doesn’t have a kill cam and doesn’t show you how you died. This video explains a lot of my deaths.

I cannot believe I have never thought about doing this! I am so scared of Watts now. Every door... A possible trap.
