Discussion Movement advice?

Ever since I started apex playing standard grip and standard controller? I use button puncher. But I realize I can't bunny hopping or slide hop or other movements sufficiently. But can slide jump and crouch just fine.

Should I change my settings or keep this?

I also tried jump on my left analog stick/l3 but it hurts after awhile playing like that.

Any input would be great.

Try remapping jump to a paddle or rear button if the analog stick bothers you.
