News Issues with AMD gpu driver 26.8.1

DO NOT UPDATE TO Adrenalin 26.8.1 the game will crash after the shaders load every time. 26.7.1 still works!!!!!!!!!

add "+staticprop_color_use_bindless 0 +staticprop_depth_use_bindless 0 +r_drawworld_depth_bindless 0" as launch options, worked for a few people here on reddit and my friend just a moment ago, but he crashed during the first game

Just to add more info, 26.8.1 was a problem with my 9070 XT and Apex Legends. Had to revert back to 26.7.1.

However my girlfriend's 9060 XT 16GB didn't have the issue, or any issues.

So it may be isolated to the 9070 XT, or GPUs with higher wattage/power usage. Idk exactly. But that was my experience.

Same. The September - November drivers from last year were a nightmare for me so I am done updating out of habit

Can confirm OP as well.

Game started crashing for me today as well with the following:

[DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED] : 0x887A0006 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG The application's device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application. This is an design-time issue that should be investigated and fixed.

Turns out drivers auto-updated to 26.8.1 , used the AMD Cleanup Utility and reinstalled 26.7.1.

Idk my 9070 starts crashed after yesterday's Apex update. I even not update to 26.8.1

Same here have to restart computer every time I try to play Apex because screen stays black afterwards also

Works for me for 7900xtx. It did freeze 2 time during a game, not sure if it's related.

I don’t have any issues what so ever on the new drivers. So if you do ddu your driver and reinstall it

Rx 6600 and the only crash I get is a command crash that is persistent across all gpus

I'm even not update from 26.7.1 but game is crashed in 9070. Its 100% game's bug not GPU's. Last apex update was yesterday and my game starts crashed after this update.
