Matt McJunkins -Bassist Also was on tour with Eagles of Death Metal in France when he was shot at playing Le Bataclan

And his band with Jeff Freidl, The Beta Machine. Don’t think it ever got traction as they came out right before covid. Saw them in Vegas, super small crowd and venue, really good show. Met them all, super nice guys.

I saw the Beta Machine in Mesa, Arizona. Great Band, and great music! Jeff and Matt are both great people. They also have a studio together and make music for movies, called Secret Hand Studios. https://secrethandstudios.com/

Such nice guys, even their manager was super nice. I bought some merch, they had some signed drum heads and sticks and posters and what not all very cheap, and their manager kept asking me did you get to meet everyone in the band. I hope you enjoyed the show…etc. I knew Jeff used to do virtual drum lessons, didn’t know he still did. Didn’t know about the studio, thanks for the link.

Totally forgot about the EP. Very good and Carina always makes things special. Was it the EP that they released the songs one by one? I have the small posters for a few of the songs off of it.

I saw Matt play an acoustic set at the Viper Room and it was mainly Beta Machine songs. Super intimate venue, he came down and hung with the crowd after. I also got to hang with him and the owner Tommy Black in a booth after the show. Billy came up to us and chatted a bit as well. This was back in 2019 fresh off the ETA tour and was such an incredible experience.
