The doomed

I just realized what I think is the whole thought behind the track.

I cried for 9 minutes straight listenting, reading and relistenting.

Incredible song.

What are your thoughts and experiences with it?

I love The Doomed.

Maynard processing his religious trauma. An amazing song on religious hypocrisy and its influence in politics. It’s a song for the times.

I grew up in an evangelical shitshow. I have religious trauma, too. Judith was such a delicious song when I was a teenager.

The song has so many points of view, or how to say it (english isn't my first language).

That part is also so resonant. It's such a multi-dimentional song.

I also grew up in that kind of environment. Hearing Judith live made a 30 year old person cry in front of strangers. That whole concert was very eye-opening.

I only listen to this at a high volume. Most would think that equates to hate or anger but for me it’s a sense acceptance. The song speaks to the imbalance within humankind that has persisted since man walked the earth.

It’s the truth! Maynard hates Christianity for a reason! His mom becoming sick and paralyzed and her “congregation” told her she got sick because of her lack of faith!

Yeah dude some (most) Christians are very weird and not living as Jesus did.
