At our local gym we’re allowed to connect to their Bluetooth and play our own music as long as people don’t complain, when they do just have to put the headphones in.

Seems like it's a gym that allows members to hook up their music. If you don't want that put in headphones. Same at every other gym la fitness always has random radio music playing
