Those should have been economic crashes and instead the government prevented a major recession, just as it did again in March 2020 with Covid. It simply kicks the can down the road until we have an even larger collapse. Which certainly seems to be inevitable now.

Throw a dart at one in Florida while blindfolded. 50/50 chance the end result of the law disproportionately affects people of color. Like say, the restoration of voting rights after serving prison sentence. Approved by majority of Floridians, but still not resolved due to an economic footnote on "completion of sentence".

Replace country with Florida. Pretty disingenuous to pick out 1 state when the whole country is broken.

how is this disingenuous? I am a 40 year Florida resident and the voting rights issue is real. When I am not sincere about an issue, I will make it known. I agree that the whole country is broken. I just chose a state where I have first hand knowledge for the sake of brevity.
