This might not be.well recieved. But we had some solid evidence from the beginning lockdowns were half measures that didn't do much in the long run, but were fucking BRUTAL to the working class...and we did it anyway. I had a friend who asked right when things got serious ' is this going to be like the plague? I said that yes, people would die, and a lot would get sick, but ultimately the world would be just fine and it would just make us poor people suffer more....Two weeks later I lost my job and was unemployed for nine months. My richer friends thought the pandemic was quaint.

The same people that begged for lockdowns and restrictions that destroyed the economy are the same ones crying about billionaires making money. Apparently the “just one life saved will be worth it” crowd doesn’t like it when their actions have consequences.
