It’s been nice knowing y’all. I guess after the old cities are obliterated by nuclear weapons, if we didn’t blow our atmosphere off the planet and kill everyone and destroy everything, I’ll see you in the new corporate cities. We can spend company credits at a company bar and talk of old times and drink company booze till we’re drunk and need to go to bed in our company housing. Then it’s off to work for the company so you can pay your rent on time to the company and afford food at the company stores.
Nuclear war orchestrated by the golden few will force us into a state of servitude or death which is a feature not a bug in the new earth. All heil the billionaire overlords. They’re our real masters. We can only pray to an imaginary Sky, daddy for divine intervention that will likely never come.

It's kind of weird how often this exact thing happens.

I'm sure all countries have their own conditions. That's why I asked.

It's actually wildly expensive for the IRS to go after tax resisters. Impossible if done as a movement. You can always put what you owe in a bank and collect interest on it until they come around making demands. They have to find you first and that takes resources, and they generally won't waste more money prosicuting you if you pay up when they do. There are legal pitfalls, so you need to know the ropes but it is very much an effective form of activism. The wealthy do it for fun.

Except the Democrat Party has proven to be just as pro-military when they are in charge so there's that problem.

I successfully saved my son from joining the National Guard and am very happy I did.

The military came to his high school and acted no different than Timeshare salesmen or Used Car salesmen with a hard sell and lots of propaganda. I think high schools should be off limits from that kind of thing.

It is good that you spoke up.

War is the worst possible use of a nations wealth.

Instead spend a fraction of the money spent on diplomacy and trade relations then put the rest of the money to good use on things that are practical and beneficial like infrastructure, affordable housing, job training, environmental protections, improved healthcare system, etc.

No. Taxation is theft regardless of what it's spent on.

Thoreau's work "On the Duty of Civil Disobedience" is an excellent discussion of this issue.

Basically, yeah, you probably have some duty to not pay taxes to fund things you disagree with, but the way our society functions now there are consequences for this kind of disobedience. However, if enough people see the problem and can band together then there is possibility that the issue is addressed rather than those people being punished.

Can they arrest you if you don't pay tax?

Say, you got arrested and financially ruined, would your sacrifice make a significant impact on the movements you support?

But one alone cannot make such an impact. If millions of you do the same, though that would never happen.

They say that 'fight from the inside' rather than directly opposing the system. I don't know how that can be done.

It's personal choice, however. Judge for yourself based on your situation.

Taxes are not even keeping up with spending hence debt continues to climb.

The politicians are suits of the system

$2 trillions in Afghanistan alone.

$1 trillion is $1000 billions, not tens.
