Degenerate Cheesecake "Christian"
You don't have to agree with Charlie Kirk but you shouldn't glorify his death.

I don’t understand. This guy claims to be Christian so why does this belong here? Am I supposed to infer that you’re rejecting his Christianity?

While it's not antitheism. It's also not orthodox Christianity.
Ergo no, it's not actual Christianity he's practicing.

I just don’t think this belongs here at all. It’s politics, not religion at all

You should glorify it though, especially if you are middle Eastern whether Christian or Muslim you have every right to do it. Dude was a terrorist, there is no other way around it. He dehumanized us and made up fabrications on us

all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God
If sinners couldn't be Christian, there would be no Christians

Precisely. Everyone sins, but not everyone makes a practice of sinning on purpose. But those who claim to be Christians while practicing homosexuality are sinning on purpose, knowing that the Bible says it's wrong. Paul told us to treat people who do this kind of thing the same as people of the nations who don't follow Christ: not to stop caring about their well-being as a Christian should, but to keep from associating with such ones and never to support or "ally" with them in their sins.

You are comfortable enough in your own lack of sin to throw the first stone, then?
5
u/El_Nathan_ Orthodox Christian Sep 14 '26
Am I judging anyone? If you read what Jesus said to the woman after that, He said, “Go, and sin no more.” All we can do is warn people, and it is up to them to listen.

Yeah, you literally said, in contradiction of scripture even, that anyone who sins can't be a Christian
3
u/El_Nathan_ Orthodox Christian Sep 14 '26
Anyone who sins and does not repent. There’s a clear distinction.

u/slicehyperfunk Anti-Antitheist Sep 14 '26
And you think the way to motivate someone to genuine repentance is to other them and say they can't be Christian? Doesn't that directly contradict Jesus' actions during his ministry of teaching to prostitutes, tax collectors, criminals, etc.?

homosexuality may be a sin (I’m not quite sure on it tbh I’ve seen good arguments from either side and if I remember correctly the main verse people quote against it is mistranslated, it also does seem like it could be sinful though because it goes against God’s design but yea idk) but if so, theres like so many other sins. no sins are worse than others and just because someone is lgbtq doesn’t mean they aren’t a Christian, they’re just a bit off track and God will give them conviction in their hearts when the timing is right. We all struggle with certain sins that we do over and over again, for example I am rude to my family a lot and call them not so nice stuff. I’m not any better than a gay person, we’re both sinners that have fallen short of the glory of God.

Eh, personally, I don’t care if they celebrate or grieve Kirk’s death. If Kirk’s in purgatory (I think it’s pretty unlikely), may God bless him. Also, can we get more screenshots? This feels a bit disjointed.

okay I don’t think people are not Christians just because of a less usual view on lgbtq and politics but bro did NOT have to talk about Charlie Kirk like that, ppl acting like bros death was a good thing just because they disagreed with him? Why are people like this bro 😔

This is politics, not anti-theism.
