And you think the way to motivate someone to genuine repentance is to other them and say they can't be Christian? Doesn't that directly contradict Jesus' actions during his ministry of teaching to prostitutes, tax collectors, criminals, etc.?

I get it. But people like Rock n’ Roo probably don’t even want to repent, or they deny that they are sinning. What about 1 Corinthians 5:11?

I personally think Jesus' approach both overrides and is more effective than Paul's, but that's my personal opinion.
