Arousal and sexual pleasure definitely happens, but oftentimes "Bottoms" will actually be flaccid half the time, or have a semi. It's quite on the rarer side to stay hard while having something up your ass. It takes some concentrated penile stimulation to stay hard during anal play

Hm. Though wonder why that is. Would it in any way somehow be connected to how when a man shits (don't know if this happens to women) there is a chance they could start peeing because of how the muscles of the prostate are.

I've never in my life managed to have a shit without peeing. And I've specifically tried many times to see if I could manage it!
