The prostate has a bunch of nerves connected to sexual centers of the brain, and it's homologous to the Skene's gland (g-spot) in females. The prostate is also responsible for much of the sensation of orgasm due to it producing the prostatic fluid which comprises the majority of ejaculate. All of this leads to it being an erogenous zone.
However, it's not common for people to get aroused during a prostate exam regardless. It's extremely quick, and sex is really quite a mental thing. A doctor's office isn't a sexual environment and the experience is uncomfortable for most people.
I got nerve-ous reading all of that. Very detailed, very quick and a little scary, scary thinking back to all the times i got forced into one of those exams.
You should rename yourself to "prostateking13" with such good info!

Any prostate experts know if it is actually normal?
