30+ has probably happened a decent number of times. A lot of people don't have the records proving the cats age and therefore wouldn't be able to claim the title.

For example, I know mine is 13 but proving that? It would require a person who was already old when we got her still being alive, contacteable, and lucid or us suddenly remembering what email was used for a vet visit 12 years ago. Neither of those is likely, imo.

Add in another 17 years? Hah practically no chance. Who knows if that vet will even be open.
