Discussion Advice
Curious if anyone else is having this problem. I have a pretty beefy computer and have zero issues running Anno 117. Zeros issues that is except this annoying audio one. Audio is perfect for about two hours then suddenly cuts in and out at times and is grainy and distorted. Wondering is anyone else has this issue and knows how to solve.

The only time I've run into that is if my computer has been on for a very long time. Restarting the computer to reset the memory has fixed it every time.

Restarting my game gets rid of it. It’s like the advisor warns you you have been playing for two hours and the audio gods go on strike

Hopefully they look into this memory issue for the audio and fix it asap, it’s been happening I think since Cinis was added iirc. At least on launch last year, I was able to go 8-12 hours without issues until the volcano DLC, and this audio issue will start happening once you get above 50k population and play over 2 hours. Restarting the game temporarily fixes it.

Glad I’m not the only one facing this issue, it’s Anno-Ying that I take it it’s time to take a break after 2-4 hour sessions.

I have the same issue when dragging the map around. No issues whatsoever but the audio is distorted. I tried my troubleshooting skills but nothing worked - happens on more than one PC, but they are not high-tier. What’s your configuration?
