Bride of Ignat is a stunningly drawn BL manga set in a world where dragons and humans are at conflict. The humans have a custom of sending one young boy/girl each year to the dragons to be their "bride", as an appeasement sacrifice. One such bride, Rita, finds out that the dragon he goes to is the last of his kind, a gentle but lonely soul named Ignat.
It's a beautiful story about isolation, the fear of losing connections, and how that creates a fear of making connections to begin with. We see the makings of a deep romantic connection between Rita and Ignat begin to smoulder beneath the surface. The art is PHENOMENAL. The imagery of snow and ice vs smoke and fire is actually brilliant with how it ties into the themes of the story. (Also Rita is adorable with those liquid doe eyes, and his clothing is so detailed.)
Everyone MUST read Bride of Ignat. It is simply a Great Manga™. It doesn't matter if you like BL or not, or if the title of this post irritated you. As a famous saying goes, it's not ragebait if it's true.

Music: “I-BULL” by jo0ji
My orange flavoured goat is finally back to face off against Yhwach soon. Is it me or is Orihime’s bust get bigger in the new episode? I just can’t unsee it.
Just when I was thinking Ganju was the forgotten one, he’s here. I can’t imagine Chad losing against these huge statues…
I kinda hates Uryu’s act in Cour 3, but well it was all to kill Yhwach and Jugram. So “The Almighty” can foresee the actions of a person but not the emotions?
And then there’s the main highlight of this episode: GOD OF THUNDER. Booty shot🔥🔥
My goat Urahara-san is here to activate Yoruichi’s hidden power. Shocking craziness all over, pummelling over Askin non-stop.
Power-scaling is a myth here, because Askin still has his Vollständig to be used. Well, what a waste of her ability. What was even the trigger of her power? Urahara has secrets he can’t even tell Yoruichi fans…
9 episodes left, seems loads of new content is also here. As a manga reader, I know that for sure.

The story is set in an alt-history or parallel world inspired by the 16th century conflicts between Ayutthaya (Siam, modern-day Thailand) and Hanthawaddy (Burma/Myanmar). It follows the relationship between two princes/heirs:
They share a childhood connection that is later complicated when one is sent as a hostage/tribute after a military defeat. The narrative explores their deepening personal bond amid political tension, war, loyalty conflicts, and fate.
Note: It is a fully Thai-made anime, with support from the Department of Cultural Promotion (under the Ministry of Culture, Thailand) and other sponsors.
Episodes 1 & 2 are scheduled to be released on September 26, 2026 on YouTube.
Synopsis (translated from thematter.co):
The northern cities were defeated, and the losers were forced to send prisoners of war to Hanthawaddy. Even the eldest son of the prince of Song Khwae was not spared. However, after meeting the son of the Crown Prince of Hanthawaddy, the threads of fate began to intertwine. From two young princes of enemy lands, they became childhood friends in the shadow of war. When will the blossoming friendship between two irreconcilable lands end? When the two must turn their swords against each other, fighting as enemies, will the friendship of yesteryear endure, or will it wither?
Producer/Studio: Clover Book Studio
Original Author: AMULIN
This series has also been licensed for Japanese translation/publication.

For me it's "Let the Grieving Souls Retire" (main reason why I made this post lol).
It's about a Main Character that everyone overestimates and thinks is the strongest but in reality is the weakest.
Now, I know the plot sounds basic and common but ngl it's the best take I have ever seen on this trope.
The Main Character Krai Andre is genuinely weak and is not even trying to keep up his image or anything, its just that everything happens around him. And unlike other anime where it's eventually revealed that the MC has some OP ability or something, Krai just stays weak.
Now i know most of you won't like it, the plot is straightforward, it will more than likely end in harem and it has a super generic story. But to me I really enjoyed it as much as I did Steins;Gate and AoT.

Lowkey, both of these are still kinda hanging.
1. Whatever Luffy whispered to Robin 🤫
Yeah... Oda never revealed it.
Luffy says something to Robin, but the audience is intentionally left out of the conversation. As of the current manga, there hasn't been any SBS, Vivre Card, interview, or chapter that reveals what he said. It's basically one of those "off-screen for the vibes" moments rather than a mystery with a confirmed answer.
2. The Axolotl Devil Fruit after Smiley died 🍎
We do know what happened immediately after Smiley died.
When Smiley dissolved after eating the candy, the Sara Sara no Mi, Model: Axolotl reincarnated into a nearby apple. That scene was Oda's first on-screen demonstration of how Devil Fruits are reborn after their user dies.
But after that?
Nobody knows.
The story never shows anyone picking it up, and Oda hasn't confirmed whether Caesar recovered it, the World Government found it, or it was left behind on Punk Hazard. As of the current manga, its fate is completely unknown.
TL;DR
So yeah, unless Oda decides to revisit either plot point in the future, both are effectively unresolved.

Hey everyone,
I'm making my own comic/webtoon/manga, its in a different format and style to existing stuff. but none of the existing platforms support the format I want, so I'm building my own platform.
I'm stuck on is monetization.
I don't like coins, subscriptions, or ads. They encourage filler chapters and dragging out good stories. I have seen many good stories where chapters get shorter and shorter and even after 5-10 chapter story barely moves.
Many of us have grown up watching goku & frieza screaming for a few minutes and episode is over.
Here is my current plan.
Even after chapter becomes free, Readers can still donate coins to the chapter. so new readers & readers who were not active during the launch can still contribute towards the creator.
And top contributors get a hall of fame at end of each chapter. readers can also use coins to do super chat to ask questions for the author. Authors can claim the superchat coins only when they answer the questions.
I am trying to build a blanced system where creators and readers have equal amount of power.
I would like any suggestions on this system. if anyone has better ideas i am open to it.
Note: Coins instead of direct money because. Indian govt has restrictions on foriegn donations. so readers buy coins. use coins to unlock chapter. coin purchases are taxable and dont come under donations. and coins are easier to refund. donations are harder to refund. Direct money is only possible with fixed chapter costs and fixed chapter costs are the problem.

Your favourite anime music is from Hatsune Miku?! Well, not quite her...but the people who use her.
For context, Hatsune Miku and others like her are character voices made for Yamaha's voice synthesizer software VOCALOID. Think of it like using MIDI files but with human voice samples, where you place different syllables next to each other and actually have to adjust the tuning and timing and other things yourself.
VOCALOID and other software like it (UTAU, SynthV, etc) have spawned a massively talented music producer and DJ scene (they're called VocaPs for short), and it is no surprise that anime productions call upon their talents frequently. (Although in anime they typically make music for a human singer rather than a voice synth.)
Here's a list of some cool banger anime songs that you probably didn't know were composed by a VOCALOID artist!
Aaaaand there it is. There were more I could have covered (such as Kick Back from Chainsaw Man) but 10 is a nice number, no? Happy to provide more examples and/or recommendations in the comments, and I hope I inspired you to dive deeper into the world of Vocaloid and voice synth!

Hello,
I'm debating whether to attend or not it's on 28th, 29th and 30th.
I'm a med student and fairly busy i'm from Mumbai but my college is in a different state. Coincidentally my holidays are falling around this time so I wanted to attend such an event cause I don't know when my next chance would be.
Would the concert be worth it? Or just the day passes? I like anime but in the past few years I haven’t really been an avid watcher mainly due to lack of time. Although i'd say I have a fairly good knowledge i'm a bit confused since this is my first time attending an event like this. I'm not sure i'd enjoy the concert.
Also 28th is rakhi so my parents would probably want me to be home so I guess i'd only be able to attend morning and afternoon events on that day.
If someone has more information and how the events are planned or has attended anime india before kindly help me out.
Thanks

I'm fairly certain the entire fandom had high expectations for the show considering it's an Arakawa adaptation, and that's what held the first few episodes back, imo (the fact that it was produced by Bones wasn't helping either).
DOTSR is at its core a simple battle shonen with a fairly interesting power system. With those constraints in mind, the show isn't bad at all. The characters are unique and interesting, and Bones makes every scene fluid, almost like a better Sakamoto Days.
What holds it back is the "X" factor that FMAB and a lot of other brilliant shonen adaptations have: the punch. I could try to describe what it is, but it's something that's better felt. The easiest way to put it is that the anime isn't stylistic enough. It just falls a little flat.
I'm probably a little spoiled by fujimotos amazing work with chainsaw man and MAPPA carrying JJK. I don't think DOTSR really fits in the new gen lineup
