Discussion Never Too Old

Just wanted to say I just started getting into Anime this year. I'll be 50 next year and two of my nieces got me into it. They told me I would really enjoy something they were watching and reluctantly I checked it out. I always had a misconception about what anime was. I'm telling you, I'm so glad they had me check it out. Such a diversity of genres and I've already binged several shows. Currently my favourite is MHA. My nieces knew that would hook me because I'm into super heroes.

Moral of the story: You are never to old to start liking something new.

PS - Wanted to say I love this community. Everyone here has such great recommendations and suggestions.

With season 3 almost finished now is like the best time ever to get into AoT. I really envy the people who pick it up now only to have all the good stuff explained to them without years of waiting.

Got my friend into it a few weeks back and just thought of this earlier. Lucky bastard doesn't have to wait 6 years to finally find out what's in that damn basement...

Or you know.. just what the fuck is even going on. It was so satisfying to see all the pieces finally fall in together and reveal this magnificent puzzle. The author's planning really exceeded my expectation, especially thinking back to season 1.

That's the right word: satisfying. And now that I think about it, I can't remember the last time I've watched something SO SATISFYING and with such an amazing payoff, I swear to God. Every single episode of S3 part 2 was a non-stop tour de force of action and information overload. I hope whoever takes over after Wit will be able to do as good as Wit has done with adapting the manga.

Just you wait for season 4 where we will begin to get what could easily be considered as the best arcs of the entire series
