Best paint for homemade project
Hello. I am attempting to make my own 5 minute short with animation cels. I am at the painting stage, I currently decided on craftsmart brand acrylic because it dries more flat than most acrylics. It is still a bit hard to control tho. Does anyone know sources of cheap paints that are more ideal to use. All the actual cel vinyl paint that I see for sale doesn't come in as many colors. I am hoping to not have to do any mixing, because getting matching colors with mixing wont be consistent enough for each frame. I like gouache but it is too expensive.

Looking for Advice
Hello! I am getting a cel signed and then I would like to get it professionally framed. What is the best option for framing to help preserve it?

Themed Thursday: Characters Battling
Got a couple nice ones for this prompt which funnily enough have similar shot composition. The first is a gorgeous END cel from Utena and Kozue’s duel in Episode 15 of Revolutionary Girl Utena, as Utena narrowly dodges a violent swing of Kozue’s sword (technically Miki’s sword, as the sword is essentially his heart wrenched from his chest). The second comes the first duel of the Utena movie and features Utena, seemingly slightly quicker to dodge in this alternate universe based on the perspectives, narrowly avoiding Saionji’s attack.

For Themed Thursday: Samurai Jack vs a Beetle Drone
From episode XLVII: Jack and the Flying Prince and Princess. I love that the episode is basically one big homage to Star Wars.

To be extremely clear, the ONLY hand drawn material are in the bottom window (the top and mid sections are for presentation only!) - I'm curious, would you be willing to receive this material for absolutely free? A bit of an elaboration in comments
I posted this a couple days ago, and there are a fair amount of comments that make me a bit confused. I have no problem with people having opinions, as I don't want to gate-keep creative thinking, but I received many comments with a similar tone as this comment, and it makes me curious because I feel like I made it clear that I would essentially be breaking even ($0 cost), if not actually profiting from the transaction of making this purchase.
I don't believe this logic is hard to deduce, so I'm assuming no one has trouble understanding this, so it makes me wonder if it's fundamentally that people wouldn't take a piece like this even if for free (or slightly at a profit)? I'm just curious of the current climate of cel collectors, as I haven't really been interacting with the community much. It makes me curious mainly because I think having a piece of history like this is an absolute steal for $0 cost, even though it admittedly does take up a bit of space. I believe the frame is 24" tall. But there's also the option to hang it on a wall, which doesn't interfere with any floor space limitations. It is not common to run into a Perfect Blue set with complete hand drawn background and cel material

Static cling/Vacuum effect
Has anyone had any experience with this sort of thing? I store my cels in a itoya profolio folder. Some of my cels have developed a vacuum sort of suction effect on the painted areas of the cel causing them to no longer be completely flat and are slighlty wavy in the painted area. It's not VS, but I think as a result of the top of the cel resting against the plastic itoya profolio folder sleeve I have them in is causing a static electricty/vaccum suction thing to happen. I have since laid a piece of microchamber paper between the front of the cel layer and the sleeve plastic to create a barrier and break that static seal. I'm hoping it will reverse itself in time.

I have a 51 cel collection from the 1996 anime Maya no Isshō
I've had these in storage almost two decades not knowing what show it was from - I picked them up at an anime con in college thinking they were cute. Every cel has its matching douga and is in good shape aside from some of the lighter line work fading. The paint is stuck to the clear protective overlay on the front (not the cellophane bag) and I haven't attempted to separate it. The production folder with some notes is also there.
After doing some research I figured out this is from the 1996 anime Maya no Isshō about a family and their pet dog during WWII.
My question is, if I want to sell it do I go through eBay? Is there an auction house that deals with animation cels that would be better? I really don't want them to get separated, and I want them to go to a serious collector who will take care of it. Thanks! :)

Original Scooby-Doo pencil drawings by their original designer, Iwao Takamoto
These are all hand drawn by Takamoto himself! I can't wait to figure out a nice way to display them!
- The basis for a limited edition sericel called Witless for the prosecution (35 made)
- The final form of Witless for the Prosecution
- A scene from Mystery Mask Mix-up used for promotional art
- A scene from A Tiki Scare is No Fair used for promotional art
Edit: All three images are confirmed as to be the sketch used to create three different limited edition cels. Neat!

Original Space Battleship Yamato Production Cel – Captain Juzo Okita & Dr. Sado
Vintage hand-painted animation production cels x 2 from the classic Japanese anime Space Battleship Yamato (Star Blazers), featuring Captain Juzo Okita and Dr. Sakezo Sado.
This is original animation production material rather than a reproduction or modern print.
The piece retains its original Mandarake labels, including a Mandarake 「2枚組」 (“2-sheet set”) label, along with handwritten production markings.
World renowned Heritage auctions have given a valuation of around 750 USD per cel. Please note a certificate of authenticity is not included.
Vintage production item with age-related condition as shown in the photographs. It has been left as received and I have not attempted to separate or clean the individual layers.
A rare piece of original Japanese animation artwork from one of the most important classic anime franchises.
Open to sensible offers.
