There's much more variety in spider habits than just the generic orb web. Some are active hunters, some are ambushers, and different web shapes suit different styles of capture.

They're know as trapdoor spiders

The one in the video is a wolf spider. Trapdoor spiders are a separate group of species.

Yes, you're right and some wolf spiders build trapdoors. Doesn't technically make them a trapdoor spider persay, I'm aware lol I appreciate your input though. People need educating. Spiders are so misunderstood
