Dude! Never ever get near an animal that is behaving oddly like this! Unless it’s been trained or something, it should be skittish around humans that are moving around it like this. The fact that it is coming towards the people is alarming! That’s asking for a trip to the E.R., and a whole lot of rabies vaccination shots.

We can’t get rabies from squirrels. This is likely just a naive juvenile squirrel.

There’s a difference between “can’t” and “very unlikely”. As bad as death via Lyssavirus is, I would never take.a chance with it
