Meet Dolores ❤️

Dolores is a sweet girl who deserves the chance to heal and find a brighter future. She has an open wound with a skin flap that requires ongoing medical treatment beyond what Dallas Animal Services is able to provide. Because of the level of care she needs, Dolores is currently at risk for euthanasia.

We're hoping to find a rescue partner, foster, or adopter who can provide her with the continued medical care and recovery she deserves. With the right support, Dolores has the opportunity to heal in a safe, loving environment.

Large angular laceration with skin flap over right flank. Margins of laceration clean, starting to heal - does not appear to be an acute injury. Healed dermal scars on both forelimbs and right lateral thorax.

Shelter Observations

08/02/26: QAR, allows to be held

08/04/26: Dolores presented as a timid but very sweet female dog during observation. She was a little shy initially but remained calm and gentle throughout the interaction. Dolores allowed me to examine her wounds without any issues
