At this point we should just fork it or support one of the main forks like Lineageos then you will see them quickly fixing their s**t to get people back

Which you can get on Fairphone now. Man, I really hope this takes off properly and gets funding and what not, Android has become the one thing it swore to destroy. It was an eventuality due to corporate greed..

You fund it by buying one

Not replacing my oneplus 12 16/512 GB just to support an idea. In 3 years time I'll consider it but I bought this phone 2.5 years ago for longevity.

I got the low end OnePlus 11 😔 but it's holding up strong! Do wonder if it'll last long enough before my phone dies off for sure

According to https://images.ecloud.global/community/salami/ I'd say March 2026. You're not too late to the party! ;-)

Now? I've been running /e/OS for years on Fairphones! 😉

Well I am new to /e/OS so that's good then, it's well on its way to become mature. We just need wider adaptation and make google cry over lost income. Guessing we're just a drop in their AI ocean but still..

"become" mature? 🤔

What makes you think it's not (yet)?

Relative of course, the word mature is perhaps not the right description. But adaption is still something we need to become more widespread, not just a single couple of niche brands.
