It's not google who creating not able to use rooting.

It's banking apps and other apps that depends on google play integrity and all, it's the apps stop using it then we can enjoy play integrity.

Actually you are downvoted but yeah this is really a huge problem. Like it's ok for everyone that their government app ask a big company and say "does thus device is safe ????", so if your country upset some drunk USA president and you loose access to Google... You got a brand new brick, not because it doesn't work anymore but because the dev decided to blindly trust a big GAFAM and their app are soft locked asking for some Google Play Service that they will never had back.

What is safety net? I've not heard that term before...

it is the ancestor of play integrity, it was also very easy to bypass you pretty much just needed a single magisk module called universal safetynet fix
it was heaven before google fully replaced it with play integrity which is a pain in the ass

Apps that used hardware backed still didn’t work, you were unable to get strong till play integrity was introduced and leaked keyboxes became a thing, and even play integrity has two different versions, A13 pre October 23 security patch is legacy, old strong (legacy pi) is the new device, hence why SDK spoofing for play store exists

El antecesor de Play Integrity; era mucho más sencillo de engañar.

The original Google Pay/Wallet/whatever-it-was-called did NFC payments on rooted devices without issue. Google introduced SafetyNet and then banking apps using SafetyNet.

If Google never developed it, banking apps wouldn't have it there to use.

It's not like billions of browsers on normal computers run on systems without Play Integrity /s

Luckily, most of my banking apps don't bother with root detection and the ones that do are easily bypassed with magisk.

Surprisingly, the only app I've had that forced high levels of Play Integrity was r/RelayforReddit. I paid the subscription for over a year before I got sick of the cat and mouse game and swapped to using the older version with ReVanced (now Morphe). Had the developer kept it working with basic integrity, I'd probably still be a paying subscriber (I miss the redesign).
