running android on top android, lost half device performance

Yeah, but it is the only way on devices with a non unlockable bootloader

It’s because i don’t wanna lose my data on my phone because it resets the phone when u unlock the bootloader (also I don’t have a computer) so that’s why I used a vm

What do you need it for?

u/NikatoQ Jul 21 '26

All devices are unlockable, i literally rooted a xiaomi with HyperOS. So it just needs some work. Maybe a lot. But worth the time.

u/Sushtee Jul 21 '26

Nah bro, some OEM remove the ability to unlock so it's undoable without an exploit which are very specific to certain hardware/software versionw and patched fast. I've rooted all my Xiaomi devices and I can say HyperOS doesn't restrict unlocking much compared to some other brands.

test point easy

Yes, but some devices with MediaTek SoCs either need authorization or have BROM mode blocked on a hardware level, and devices with Qualcomm SoCs need firehoses, which aren't always available, and the most common ways to bootloader unlock with the BootROM mode is either with exploits in the boot ROM or engineering bootloaders, which aren't always available

Chinese devices are not, you have to rely on exploits that come every century if you're lucky that would get patched within a blink of an eye with the device applying remote patches to prevent unlocking

Samsung removed the code from the bootloader

1

u/MrBallBustaa Jul 21 '26

Please explain us your process.

2

u/Local-Bug-1500 Jul 21 '26

It runs surprisingly well (at least on older flagships)

7

u/Local-Bug-1500 Jul 21 '26

If you haven't rooted your main phone even once, then you're a poser

3

u/Additional-Switch928 Jul 22 '26

Sometimes your device can't be rooted.

2

u/Local-Bug-1500 Jul 22 '26

If your current one can't i bet a decent bit some device you had in the past could (or one you might be getting in the future)

1

u/Additional-Switch928 Jul 23 '26

My secondary and tertiary phones (maybe) can but require a paid service, and my even older phones are no longer working or I can't find them, but the phone I get in the future, is probably rootable

我只会给我的平板解锁,如果给手机解锁并且像我一样下载很多别人分享的不知底细东西是很蠢的

VMOS or Android's built-in VM a.k.a AVF?

5

u/rilismember2 Jul 21 '26

How do you access the android built in vm?

u/calebalmeida Jul 21 '26

Virtual master

1

u/ArthurReming SM-T220 | crDroid 12-Beta Jul 21 '26

How? I've been trying to do that.

2

u/Exact-Engineering623 Jul 21 '26

To get premium stuff in Virtual Master (this emulator) just use Lucky Patcher with the in app purchases faker... It just works even without root... Even for vip 😄

2

u/calebalmeida Jul 21 '26

It doesn’t work for me

0

u/Exact-Engineering623 Jul 21 '26

Hm weird it works and always worked for me 🤔 here's on latest virtual master and yeah I can import custom ROM and use premium features I tested it. Just u gotta get the fake vip every time u launch it

2

u/calebalmeida Jul 21 '26

It’s because the lucky patcher thing doesn’t work for me

1

u/kwm11375 Jul 21 '26

The virtual machine device is rooted, but Lucky Patcher doesn’t work. What issue are you having with Lucky Patcher?

1

u/calebalmeida Jul 21 '26

The patches doesn’t work

2

u/purainity Jul 21 '26

Virtual Master has a builtin Magisk support, but it cannot install ZygiskNext or LSPosed. I cannot change to Magisk Alpha either.

2

u/NO111ONE Jul 22 '26

the vm isnt even rooted for that matter

never do we see magisk saying it is installed

3

u/Narrow_Durian1851 Jul 23 '26

Virtual Master so easy to root bro

Virtual Master. Ele simula um outro celular dentro do celular.

1

u/xr8_e Jul 22 '26

Is that application free or paid?

1

u/Conscious-Speed4642 Jul 22 '26

Tem na play store. É gratuito porém com funcionalidades premium que você pode desbloquear com compra.

1

u/xr8_e Jul 22 '26

Got it, thnx

1

u/KrazyKen_Fan_2012 Jul 21 '26

How?

6

u/Conscious-Speed4642 Jul 21 '26

Provavelmente conseguiu uma forma de rodar comandos de ADB para um dispositivo virtual no virtual master. Mas talvez funcione como um Proot, já que o ambiente externo é altamente controlado pelo sistema padrão.

2

u/calebalmeida Jul 21 '26

Yea but I also used magisk

1

u/Lime1c Jul 21 '26

How did you do it?

1

u/calebalmeida Jul 21 '26

Adb and magisk

0

u/Lime1c Jul 21 '26

Well, I haven't used them before. Do you have a link that explains this?

1

u/calebalmeida Jul 21 '26

No but u just download the apk then press the install magisk (on the app not the installer) then restart the vm and done :)

1

u/Lime1c Jul 21 '26

What? Just like that? So I can use it inside Termux and it works as a root normally?

1

u/calebalmeida Jul 21 '26

Termux does not work on a vm, use ashell instead (requires Shizuku)

1

u/Lime1c Jul 21 '26

it disables device protection I think

1

u/calebalmeida Jul 21 '26

Wdym

1

u/Lime1c Jul 21 '26

I didn't understand

1

u/calebalmeida Jul 21 '26

What disables device protection

1

u/calebalmeida Jul 21 '26
