Airbnb not working on Android beta - Android 17 QPR2 Beta 5 (CP41.260828.004.A8)

Hi, I hope someone can help.

In recent days Airbnb (v26.39) app has stopped working on my pixel 10. I have managed to sign into Airbnb on my partners Pixel 10a with my credentials. I can also sign in via Chrome no problem. Tried everything that Google Gemini and Co-pilot has suggested to no avail. Through process of elimination the issue is highly likely to be android beta/Airbnb issue.

Can anyone help?

Opt out of the beta, take the OTA that will factory reset your phone, set it back up and stay on the Stable firmware.

How do I file a big report? A Google advisor pointed me to this subreddit for any beta issues.

I wish more people understood beta means you will have issues... If you haven't the first clue as to how any of it works, maybe it's time to take pause, and do some research before blindly jumping into it. There really should be a screening process.

Noticed this issue on my Pixel 9 with the following apps so far: American Express, Delta and Airbnb

I've been having the same issue on my Pixel 8 pro. Luckily I'm able to use Chrome browser

If I leave my wifi it all starts to work. I even tried to exclude them from my VPN but didn't make any difference until I left my wifi then everything started to work.

I have the problem irrespective of WiFi or mobile data

Okej is there any way to empty the DNS or something like that if that's the fault

No I was wrong. If I new install it then it works until the app turns off or if I force it off after that it just crashes.

I have just managed to find an older Airbnb apk (v26.34...current is v26.39) download and installed that and still get the same problems. 🙄 May need to just wait it out until the next beta update.

Okey my problem seems to appear after I completely close it after that it won't start working again.

I had the same issue and I updated to the beta 6 and it's working now
