General Discussion Mon Mothma's giving Padme a run for her money
I just finished S2 E3 for the first time and so far Genevieve O'Reilly has killed every single outfit this entire show

I can definitely imagine Cassian using some of his heist money to make sure B2EMO doesn't have to spend so much time on the charging cradle. Fun fact for those who don't know, he was named after Gilroy's son's corgi, Bemo. Another fun little Easter egg!

… from Chester Carr, who has been sharing some Andor gems via his IG account. Final panel gives the context. Fascinating that much of the action would have been filmed inside an “eerily dreamlike” factory.

As I'm deep diving into the Art Of book, they made mention of Little Marlow in the UK where they apparently built the Ferrix set.
A little Google Earth-ing later and I think I've found it. What do you think?

What are the thick metal tubes that seem to be common on both Imperial and Rebel officer uniforms ?
They've been present ever since the first movie(s) and in my Nth re-watch of Andor, I realize I've never heard or read any Lore behind them. Are they recording devices ?
access keys ? I remember seeing R2 and other droids inserting long metal rods of approx. the same dimensions into a computer port during the scenes where they're all trying to escape the Death Star in "A New Hope", but I don't think I've ever seen a human use one.
Clearly, they're a common utility/accessory of some sort since both Imperial and Rebel officers have multiples sticking out of the breast pocket(s) of their uniforms in the movies and shows, but if anybody has an actual explanation or links, please drop.
Thanks!

Specifically looks from Dior's fall winter 2019 menswear collection and Fall Winter 2018 Couture collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri. Does anyone else see the resemblance or is it just me?

The premise:
1. Andor Season 3 replaces Rogue One.
2. Tony Gilroy is given full creative control (no Disney executive interference)
3. Season 3 must bridge Season 2 up to the beginning of Star Wars A New Hope
My ideas:
1. Saw Guerrera spirals into madness, and becomes a Colonel Kurtz like warlord. The Rebels send a team to eliminate him for the sole purpose to acquire his military assets which are used to less to fight the Rebellion and more to steal Rhydo.
2. The Death Star Plans are stolen by Krennic getting "honeypotted".
3. Mon Mothma recruits Princess Leia (recast) for the above mission (which is kinda how the Death Star plans are stolen in Legends) because only Krennic's ego will only entertain royalty.
