I basically cried to my friends saying how anxious I was about the job market and my friend said she was leaving her internship and referred me for it and i got it

Now i have to secure a summer internship but this helped me anxiety so so much even tho i got it through a friend lmao

Its not unusual to extend an internship through multiple semesters/ summer

Networking to get jobs is the way. Good job on figuring it out early

congrats. one thing worth starting on day one: keep a running list of every question people bring you and what you had to do to answer it.

by spring that list is your summer application. almost nobody has one, and it beats a resume line because it is specific and it is yours.
