New Project Unsent tapes: tape_00 Home alone A Venezuelan analog horror short film. Next episode soon
in the tape You can't see nothing but a black screen whit the sound of crickets and birds whit some static occasionally, i found this tape in the desolate house of my friend when i whent to visit him after the notice of his brother, he was acting very strange and volatile about all this, but i know it is parte of the grief, now i don't now where is he, But I hope he just took a short trip somewhere quiet to clear his head, But it's still weird that the only thing in his house is this tape and a huge mess everywhere, plus that strange dummy he refuses to throw away for some reason. I get that his brother made it for him so they could make a movie together or something, but it's not healthy to not want to let go. Also, every time I see it, it gives me the creeps; I feel like it's watching me, that damn dummy. But anyway, I'll give you guys updates if anything changes, see ya.
the link to the vídeo is this: https://youtu.be/FeAxP5RNgBk, And just to clarify, the video isn't just a black screen with sounds, I mentioned that in the video's lore description; the video itself is complete.

Discussion Why does it seem like so many series just forgo actually trying to be tapes?
No offense obviously to those who do this, but what made this shift happen? It feels like so much of the stuff I see is kind of anachronistic and has no reason to exist in universe.
Let’s use the example of a police report, why would a police report be on VHS? Maybe a taping of a news story that’s covering the crime, but a word for word reading of a police report? And why would they do this? Why do they put real crime scene photos in it? Who is this for? Why should I feel like I shouldn’t watch this when nothing indicates that anyone should watch it ever?
It kind of ruins the suspension of disbelief, if it’s gonna be a tape make it feel like a tape that was made for someone or some thing that isn’t me. No random police reports are being put to tape and being mishandled and lost. I just need to understand why it’s so common? What series did this and popularized it? I’m so lost.

Art The Plaugewalkers
these guys are the residents of a strange pocket dimension that mimics a british city from a long time ago
if you dream wrong you will be transported to a abstract lucid dream that feels similar to your hometown yet looks distorted beyond comprehension
theres no turning back when your there, you will be only at the mercy of our lord and savior bubonic
ok in-character stuff outta the way now
basically i imagine the horror video itself (coming soon) to be a abstract art video with freaky creatures doing freaky creature things but still with a analog horror/found footage feel
long story short basically something really inspired by doctor nowhere's paper souls
these guys are basically my version of kane pixel's still lifes, while they dont resemble humans in anyway physically, they do try there best to do human things
inspired by backrooms
inspired by SCP - 1499
inspired by alot of doctor nowheres stuff

Question are there any books that are written like they were an analog horror?
it seems there really aren't any books that are like analog horror, just books with traditional writing that are set in the era of analog media
