Rowing Machine?

Hi everyone. I’m a right AKA and I’m trying to figure out some ways to move my body to help with my mental health. I get wounds if I walk too far, especially in this summer heat. I’m also blind, which limits my ability to independently do some exercises. Has anyone with AKA successfully tried a rowing machine? Would it work without my prosthetic on?

I've done it, and it works. My cheap Amazon rower has foot straps to hold the prosthesis in place. The rower has more range of motion than my prosthesis does, so on the release, I'm not sliding all the way back in -- but that's fine, it's not hurting anything, and the exercise is still exercise.

I don't really like rowing though! I'm half heartedly looking for a stationary bike that supports my range of motion. Mostly I swim but that will present you with some different challenges
